1946 Chevy Truck 1/2 Ton

Here is a beautiful 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup truck, ZERO RUST, in great condition and very reliable! A real people pleaser! All original sheet metal, except for the running boards which are fiberglass, and no patches. It is powered by a 235 CID inline six-cylinder motor mated to a 3-speed manual transmission, old fashioned floor shift and manual floor starter. It rides on a 115-inch wheelbase and the oak bed floor looks fantastic. The body and frame are solid from having been thru an earlier restoration. The interior is very clean, comfortable, and sports a new bench seat covered in black vinyl with corresponding door panels and a updated headliner. If you buy this 1946 Chevrolet truck be prepared to answer questions and see a lot of 'thumbs up.' This is the kind of truck that will always have value as a fun driver since It looks like it did in the 40's. The cruising speed is around 50 MPH. Highlights Glass is good, windows still crank freely and windshield tilts out. Electrical was converted to 12 volt so all lights are bright, heater and windshield wipers work. Brakes were completely replaced to include, master brake cylinder, lines, drums, shoes and wheel cylinders. Bench seat, headliner, and door panels are new. Seat and door panels are upholstered with black vinyl. Has four speakers with a Kenwood amplifier and Sony FM/AM radio/CD player. New shocks. Replaced rear engine seal, front and back motor mounts. The clutch is in good condition. Completely rebuilt the 3-speed manual transmission. Battery was replaced with a new sealed battery. Engine is an earlier rebuild and still runs great. Installed a RCI fuel tank, 15 gallon. Gauges work except the fuel gauge. It reads a half tank under actual levels. The tires, chrome wheels, and hub caps are new. Dual stainless steel exhaust tips look great and it sounds awesome even with a six cylinder
