Arts and Craft Teacher

CraftLab Seattle is seeking ARTS AND CRAFTS TEACHERS for local after school arts programs in local elementary schools across the City of Seattle. We need energetic, fun and creative people to get kids excited about being creative and making things with their hands. $80 per class for between 8-10 weeks of instruction (2 sessions total from January 2024 through June 2024) Hours will be after school (roughly 2:30-4 daily) and how many classes you teach per week is up to you. Qualifications: • Must be able to pass all required school background checks and other SPS requirements • Must be able to lead a balanced class for kids grades 1-5, including class setup and cleanup. • Experience working with children in a fast-paced environment (school classroom experience is a plus) • A fun and exuberant attitude towards art and crafts and teaching kids • A punctual and professional attitude • Ability to lift/load art supplies in and out of cars/classrooms • Reliable Transportation to and from schools • Excellent organization and communication skills • Conduct interactive, friendly, and fun classes with 10-15 kids CraftLab Seattle teachers receive training and ongoing support, full curriculum and all materials are provided.
