2020 Eastman EU3T Tenor Ukulele Mint condition. Barry Maze from Gotaukulele posted a flattering review on this tenor which is the main reason I purchased three of them over a two year period. They are exquisite in sound and build. I am selling two and keeping one. This one for sale has a beautiful nitrocellulose finish, K&K Aloha Twin passive pickups, Gotoh UK-700 tuners and Living Water High G fluorocarbon strings. The heavy duty case is the one that Eastman provided when new. This ukulele is not being produced anymore as Eastman discontinued their entire ukulele line. Indeed, this solid mahogany series of Ukuleles is distinctly vintage in feel and sound and some careful design choices go a long way in helping these stand out from the pack. For example the Eastman Ukes are possibly the only instruments at this price that use an intricate and delicate nitro-cellulose finish rather than modern harder polyester gloss. This means that the instrument sounds and feels a little bit tight at first but opens up as it is played in like a vintage Martin or Gibson Uke. Also, note how gorgeous the mahogany looks; Chinese factory instruments rarely feature such select woods. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge complete the ensemble. Maybe you have been hankering for a Pono but wanted something slightly more complex sounding, and rooted in tradition. Eastman is here to fill that gap. This Tenor is gorgeous and soulful - even slightly reflective and pensive in its delivery. Each ukulele features all solid wood construction with the top, back & sides made from the finest mahogany finished in a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. The body is matched with rosewood binding and the fretboard is inlaid with abalone pearl snowflakes.
